About this product
With Stratiotes aloides Marimo you Marimo two powerful oxygenating plants into your home that ensure clear water and a natural balance. They purify the pond water, inhibit algae growth, and keep the ecosystem healthy—without the need for filters, pumps, or chemicals. Stratiotes aloides at the surface and cleverly sinks to the bottom in winter. Marimo , on the other hand, slowly Marimo across the bottom and absorb dirt and debris.
What makes this product special
The Marimo come from our own organic nursery, grown without artificial additives. They require little maintenance, can live up to 100 years, and absorb water until they form a firm ball about 5 cm in diameter. Sometimes they float to the surface, but a gentle squeeze sends them sinking back down. Stratiotes aloides just as remarkable: this plant knows when to sink or float, turns itself toward the light, and draws nutrients from the soil. Two clever plants that keep themselves in top shape.

Both plants are hardy and require almost no maintenance. Marimo grow only 5 mm per year, but remain active for years.
