The Zantedeschia, also known as Zantedeschia aethiopica, is a striking marsh plant that produces bright white flowers while helping to purify pond water. With its broad leaves and sturdy growth habit, it provides shade, filtration, and protection for pond inhabitants. Its roots absorb nutrients from the water, which helps to limit algae growth. An elegant plant with a clear purpose. Zantedeschia best in moist soil or marshy areas and blooms from spring through summer with distinctive white, cup-shaped flowers. The plant has sturdy, dark green leaves and a compact growth habit, making it suitable for smaller ponds as well. Zantedeschia pairs well with other flowering marsh plants and adds clear structure to the pond’s edge. It blooms best in full sun or partial shade. Our arum lilies are organically Grown our own nursery and are suitable for outdoor use. The plant is hardy and will naturally resprout after winter. For a balanced pond, we recommend 2 baskets, each containing 4 arrowheads, per 1,000 liters of water—a total of 8 marsh plants. No matter what I tried, the water in my pond just wouldn't clear up. After exchanging a few emails, I decided to order this complete kit, though to be honest, I wasn't very confident it would work.
