Opens at sunrise, closes at sunset. The white lotus is no ordinary aquatic plant. Its large flowers float proudly above the water and immediately catch the eye. At sunrise, it opens its petals; at sunset, it closes them again—day after day. It requires little care, as long as you provide sunlight, warmth, and a firm base of Pond clay. With its scent, color, and presence, it adds something that no other plant can match. Where the water lily lies on the water, the lotus rises above it. Long stems lift its flowers and leaves above the pond, strong, graceful, and striking. It repels dirt with its self-cleaning leaf surface and attracts butterflies, bees, and dragonflies. And it’s not just beautiful: the roots, seeds, and young leaves are edible. Whether you choose to plant a rhizome or grow it from seed, you’ll always get something unique in return. A lotus is not a disposable plant. With the right care, it will bloom year after year. The water is finally clear

No matter what I tried, the water in my pond just wouldn't clear up. After exchanging a few emails, I decided to order this complete kit, though to be honest, I wasn't very confident it would work.
