The Iris white, also known as Iris kaempferi ‘White’, is a striking marsh plant that combines water purification with beautiful blooms. The plant helps absorb excess nutrients such as nitrate, which contributes to clear pond water. At the same time, its white blooms add a fresh, bright touch to the pond’s edge. A robust and reliable choice for those who want to combine water purification with aesthetic appeal. The Iris white in early summer with large, white flowers on sturdy stems about 60 cm tall. The plant thrives best in marshy areas, with moist soil and full sun to partial shade. Thanks to its sturdy leaves, it remains upright even after rain or wind. The flowers attract bees and other insects and give the bank a light, natural look. Faded flowers are easy to remove, which encourages new blooms. Our Iris white are grown naturally in our own nursery and are fully hardy. They return every year, require little maintenance, and can last for decades. For a balanced pond, we recommend 2 baskets, each containing 4 marsh plants per 1,000 liters of water, for a total of 8 marsh plants. This ensures a healthy, purifying shoreline with striking blooms. No matter what I tried, the water in my pond just wouldn't clear up. After exchanging a few emails, I decided to order this complete kit, though to be honest, I wasn't very confident it would work.
