With the Cape water lily (Aponogeton distachyos), combined with loose oxygenating plants such as Ceratophyllum Marimo, you can bring fragrance, tranquility, and clarity to your pond. The water lily provides shade, cooling, and protection for fish, while the oxygenating plants actively remove nutrients such as nitrite and nitrate from the water. The result: less algae, more oxygen, and a healthier pond. Marimo place the Ceratophyllum the Marimo in the water. The Cape water lily is unlike any other. Instead of a single flowering season, this exotic aquatic plant often blooms twice a year—in both spring and fall. The white flowers give off a light vanilla scent and attract plenty of bees. After planting, Ceratophyllum from reddish-brown to fresh green and grows vigorously without a pot or substrate. Marimo Marimo debris from the bottom and quietly keep the water clean. No matter what I tried, the water in my pond just wouldn't clear up. After exchanging a few emails, I decided to order this complete kit, though to be honest, I wasn't very confident it would work.
