About this product
With the Native Filter Plant Package, you’ll have all the plants a pond needs to maintain its natural balance. The various plant species absorb nutrients and waste, add oxygen to the water, and work together to ensure clear and healthy pond water. This makes it easy to create a healthy ecosystem where nature does the work without filters, pumps, or chemicals.
What makes this product special
The Native Aquatic plants has been carefully curated by our pond specialists based on years of experience. It includes oxygenating plants, marsh plants, Aquatic plants water lilies that complement each other and together create a biological balance.
Each plant has its own function: one purifies the water, another provides oxygen or shade. This naturally creates a stable pond that remains clear without much maintenance.
Don’t have suitable substrate in your pond yet? Then use our STEP ONE Pond substrate. It ensures that the plants can root properly and absorb nutrients.
Note: lava, gravel, pebbles, or sand are not suitable root substrates. These materials trap the roots and disrupt natural filtration. Extra substrate is only unnecessary for a pond with a natural soil bottom (as found in nature). Do you have a pond with liner or a pre-formed Pond tub? Then STEP ONE is STEP ONE for healthy plant growth.
Quality and origin
All plants come directly from our own aquatic plant nursery, where we have been growing them organically without chemical pesticides since 1986. As a result, you’ll receive strong, healthy plants that thrive as soon as they’re placed in your pond. We use sustainable packaging made from recycled materials and ship everything fresh from our own nursery. This way, you’re not only helping your pond, but also helping to keep the nature around you in balance.

The water is finally clear

No matter what I tried, the water in my pond just wouldn't clear up. After exchanging a few emails, I decided to order this complete kit, though to be honest, I wasn't very confident it would work.
The delivery was in good condition and the plants looked healthy. Not much changed during the first few weeks, but after about a month, the water slowly began to clear up.
Now the pond is really in perfect balance. The plants are growing well, and I can even see frogs among the leaves again. I'm really glad I gave this a try.
