Thread algae often develops due to a combination of sunlight and an excess of nutrients in the pond water. The thread algae control kit tackles this problem at its root by stabilizing water parameters and restoring the natural balance in the pond. As excess nutrients are broken down, thread algae loses its growth base and algae growth visibly decreases. With just a few applications per year, you can easily maintain your pond and prevent thread algae from returning.

No matter what I tried, the water in my pond just wouldn't clear up. After exchanging a few emails, I decided to order this complete kit, though to be honest, I wasn't very confident it would work.
