This elegant aquatic plant purifies the water and prevents algae growth, without you having to lift a finger. Variegated Acorus a robust, striking marsh plant with white-and-green striped leaves. This plant adds color to the pond’s edge, even without flowers. Variegated Acorus perfect for anyone looking for a low-maintenance plant with water-purifying properties. Thanks to its sturdy root system, this plant efficiently absorbs nutrients such as phosphate from the pond water, which helps reduce algae growth. Acorus also fragrant: when crushed, the leaves release a fresh, herbaceous scent. What makes the variegated Acorus is its graceful, striped foliage, which adds texture even in winter. This plant remains low to medium in height (30–60 cm), grows in neat clumps, and is not invasive. Acorus wet conditions well and thrives best in the riparian zone with 0–15 cm of water. Additionally, the plant is suitable for both full sun and partial shade. Thanks to its striking leaf pattern, this plant provides a perfect contrast to broad-leaved or flowering varieties. Our variegated Acorus grown in our own nursery without the use of artificial aids and is fully hardy. The plant requires very little care and returns every year. For a healthy pond, we recommend 2 baskets, each containing 4 Aquatic plants 8 total), per 1,000 liters of water. Divide the plant every few years to maintain its vigor and vitality. The water is finally clear

No matter what I tried, the water in my pond just wouldn't clear up. After exchanging a few emails, I decided to order this complete kit, though to be honest, I wasn't very confident it would work.
The delivery was in good condition and the plants looked healthy. Not much changed during the first few weeks, but after about a month, the water slowly began to clear up.
