Veronica, also known as Veronica beccabunga, is a hardy and fast-growing groundcover for the shoreline of your pond. This native aquatic plant actively contributes to a healthy pond by converting nitrite into nitrate, which helps break down harmful substances. Its cheerful blue flowers also attract beneficial insects and instantly add color to your pond’s edge. Veronica along the ground and can even hang gracefully over the edge of your pond. The plant roots easily in Pond substrate Pond soil quickly forms a dense, green mat. Thanks to the unique “anti-freeze mechanism” in its leaves, this aquatic plant often remains green in winter and is suitable for wet soils and shallow water (up to 20 cm). Ideal for filling in gaps between other marsh plants. Our Beekpunte plants are grown in our own nursery without the use of artificial additives and are fully hardy. They require little care and return every year. For a healthy pond, we recommend 2 baskets, each containing 4 Aquatic plants 8 total), per 1,000 liters of water. No matter what I tried, the water in my pond just wouldn't clear up. After exchanging a few emails, I decided to order this complete kit, though to be honest, I wasn't very confident it would work.
