- (G) Ceratophyllum demersum – 2 L

Tip: Lotus plants do not Pond soil .
Instructions for the Lotus Set

Setting up the pond basket
- Place the empty (A) Pond Basket on a stable surface.
- Fill the Pond baskets two-thirds Pond baskets with (B) POND CLAY – 5 L.
- Place the (C) Lotus rhizome in the center of the basket with the growing tips and leaves facing upward.
- Fill the pond liner with (B) POND CLAY to 5 cm below the top of the pond liner.
Instructions for a lotus pond

Setting up a small pond
- Place the (D) tray in the desired location.
- Fill the mini pond with (E) POND SUBSTRATE – 5 L
(Use approximately 50%). - Fill the bowl 70% full with clay
- Place 2 (C) Lotus rhizomes on the clay
- Fill the bowl with clay
- Fill the mini pond with (E) POND SUBSTRATE – 5 L
(enough for a thin, even layer – you don’t need to use all of the substrate). - Fill the bowl with tap water.
(not rainwater) - Add (F) Cladophora Aegagropila – 5 pieces.
- Next, add (G) Ceratophyllum demersum – 2 L.
- Add (H) BACTA TAB.
