INSTA CLEAN Instructions
Add the first dose of INSTA CLEAN
- Apply per 1,000–20,000 L 1 packet of INSTA CLEAN (1 L) evenly over the water surface.
- For swimming ponds, use INSTA CLEAN only in the plant filter.
- The pump and filter can remain on, but they are not necessary in a well-designed natural pond.

OPTIONAL: BACTA CLEAR
- Pour the entire bottle BACTA CLEAR into the pond into the pond.
- This supports bacterial growth and ensures clear water and helps restore the biological balance.
Add the second dose of INSTA CLEAN
- Sprinkle the second packet of INSTA CLEAN (1L) evenly over the water surface again.
- This second dose promotes further breakdown of sludge and organic waste and helps keep the system stable.
- For best results, follow this cycle 2 to 3 times a year, for example in the spring, for algae problems in the summer and in the fall to break down sludge and leaf debris.
⚠️ Note: After adding the product, the water may temporarily turn white or slightly cloudy. This is normal and means that INSTA CLEAN is working. The water will clear up on its own.
Use this cycle every spring and fall.
I know from experience that preventive maintenance is always cheaper than having to treat algae, remove sludge, or replace plants later on.

INSTA CLEAN
Bacteria in a dormant state that become active immediately upon contact with water and break down organic waste, sludge, and sediment.

INSTA CLEAN (freeze-dried) is extremely stable, highly concentrated, and effectively breaks down sludge and bottom debris. The bacteria "awaken" in the water and multiply on the spot.
BACTA CLEAR (liquid) works immediately after addition and focuses on water clarity and restoring the biological balance in your pond.
Together, they tackle two problems at once: removing sludge and clarifying the water. That makes POND CARE a complete maintenance package.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. This is normal and temporary. The white haze means that the product is actively breaking down break down organic waste and sludge. The water will clear up on its own.
INSTA CLEAN operates on a 30-day cycle and is intentionally designed this way. After the first dose (day 1) , the breakdown of waste begins.
Optional: after BACTA CLEAR Day 3) you will often already see an improvement in clarity.
After the second dose (day 30) the process is complete and the pond stabilizes.
Therefore, evaluate the results after 30 to 60 days.
No. That’s normal during this cycle. Algae will only disappear once their food source has been completely broken down. Adding extra doses won’t speed up this process.
No. The pump and filter can remain on. INSTA CLEAN works even without mechanical filtration if the pond is set up correctly according to our Clear Water Plan.
In that case, the cause almost always lies with the bottom of the pond, such as too few plants, no substrate, insufficient or incorrect substrate, or too many fish. Adding extra INSTA CLEAN will not solve this. Therefore, please review our Clear Water Plan to set up your pond optimally step by step and bring it into structural balance.
