Add
- Drop the entire tablet into the pond.
- Suitable for 100 to 1,000 liters. Overdosing is not possible.
- Safe for people, plants, and animals.
How it works
- Let the bacteria do their job.
- It is best to turn off a UV lamp for 3 weeks, as it also kills beneficial bacteria.
- The pump and filter can remain on, but, like a UV lamp, they are unnecessary in a well-designed natural pond.
- Temporary slight discoloration or odor is normal and will go away on its own.

Repeat
- Use 2 to 3 times a year: in the spring, in the summer when algae grow, and in the fall.

Unopened, BACTA TAB has a shelf life of approximately 1 year.
Once opened, it is best to use the tablets within a short period of time for optimal effectiveness.
The bacteria are natural and cannot be overdosed.
Use BACTA TAB two to three times a year:

For larger ponds (1,000–20,000 liters), use BACTA CLEAR.

The bacteria loosen sludge and debris from the bottom, which can cause the water to temporarily darken.
After about 10–14 days, it will clear up on its own.
