Do you use a UV lamp?
Turn it off for at least 3 weeks. UV light also kills beneficial bacteria.
The pump and filter can remain on, but, like a UV lamp, they are unnecessary in a well-designed natural pond.
A temporary slight discoloration or odor after adding the product is normal and will disappear on its own.

You can BACTA CLEAR as soon as the daytime temperature remains stable at 5 degrees Celsius or higher. Below 5 degrees Celsius, bacteria are barely active. Once the daytime temperature reaches 5 degrees Celsius, they slowly start working again and can break down waste products.
In most ponds, you’ll see an improvement in water clarity within 10 to 14 days. In ponds with a lot of silt or an imbalance, this may take longer, as the biological system recovers gradually.
Yes. BACTA CLEAR best when used in combination with INSTA CLEAN. INSTA CLEAN loosens organic waste and sludge, while BACTA CLEAR breaks BACTA CLEAR down biologically and clarifies the water.
This almost always means that the pond’s foundation is flawed—for example, due to too few plants, no substrate, or an excessive fish population. BACTA CLEAR the biological process, but cannot compensate for improper setup.
